Savannah revealed that she purchased a fake tree for the first time this year after previously favoring a real tree.

“It’s fake, and it’s spectacular,” the TV star gushed to Willie and chief meteorologist, Al Roker, who declared they prefer to decorate for the holidays with a real tree.

Savannah further boasted about her decor, saying the tree came “self-lighting,” to which their other co-host, Carson Daly, shared that he also opted for a pre-lit tree.

“Are there ornaments even on your tree?” Willie asked, seemingly putting down the longtime Today anchor’s artificial spruce.

“How dare you?” Savannah playfully clapped back. “Of course, there are ornaments. Handmade [by my] kids.”

Savannah shared a clip of their spat on her Instagram Stories and followed it with an up-close video of her fully decorated Christmas tree inside her Brooklyn, New York, home, which she shares with her husband, Michael Feldman, and their two kids, Vale, 11, and Charley, 8.

She scanned the camera up and down the tree, decked out with white lights and colorful ornaments, some personalized with her children’s pictures on them.

“Take THAT @williegeist,” the TV personality wrote over the post.

Earlier this week, the group, including their other co-hosts, Craig Melvin, Sheinelle JonesDylan Dreyer, Peter Alexander, Kristen Welker, and Jenna Bush Hager, gathered for the show’s annual holiday card.

It included a video posted to Today’s social media platforms that showed the journalists enjoying various winter activities in a snowy setting.

The hosts also posed for a still shot, with the message “Happy Holidays” written across the photo.

Many fans were disappointed to see that Savannah’s former co-host, Hoda Kotb, didn’t partake in the photoshoot.

Hoda previously anchored the first two hours of Today with Savannah and hosted the fourth hour, initially with Kathie Lee Gifford, and later Jenna.

The former correspondent left the show in January to spend more time with her family, and Craig took her place in the newsroom.

She reunited with Savannah and Al last week to co-host the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which she’d done in years past.
