Viewers have been tuning in to Good Morning America for their morning news for fifty years now. The show premiered in 1975 and has seen many changes in co-hosts. Michael Strahan famously left LIVE With Kelly to join GMA full-time after years as a part-time correspondent. The move reportedly sparked a feud with Kelly Ripa that’s still going today.
He seems to get along with his GMA co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. But Robin Roberts took a dig at Michael Strahan that left viewers in shock. Keep reading to find out what happened.
Robin Roberts Takes Shocking Dig At Michael Strahan
Michael Strahan learned a harsh lesson on Good Morning America this week. He learned not to mess with Robin Roberts, even as a joke. She will hit back and hit back hard.

On Wednesday’s episode, things got playful between the GMA hosts after a segment on the trendy Labubu plush toys. The stuffed toys with exaggerated, monster-like features are the hottest toy on the market this summer after going viral.
Michael Strahan reached under the desk as if he was going to pull out a Labubu. “Don’t do it, Michael. Don’t do it,” Robin Roberts warned him. He ignored her warning and pulled out a stuffed penguin instead of a Labubu.
He said that he knew it was a Labubu because it didn’t have any teeth. “You’re one to talk about teeth,” Robin retorted. The shocking diss was a reference to Michael Strahan’s noticeable gap between his front teeth.

Michael Strahan Proud Of Distinctive Feature
Michael Strahan has probably heard it all about the gap in his teeth over the years. The diss from his co-star didn’t seem to bother him. They moved on as if the diss never even happened.
The former NFL player previously expressed pride in the distinctive feature. “I rock my gap with pride! It’s who I am,” he said. The gap in his teeth was the subject of a 2021 April Fool’s Day prank that fooled everyone.
Throwback To His Epic April Fool’s Day Prank
Michael Strahan is proud of the gap in his teeth. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t considered getting it fixed. In 2021, he did just that. He posted a video on Instagram of several visits to the dentist to get the gap filled.

The stunning change in his appearance made headlines. Many praised his new look. But it turned out to be one huge April Fool’s Day joke. He let the joke sit for a few days before revealing that it was all a prank and his gap was here to stay.
The viral moment between Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan on GMA is just the latest example of the co-hosts teasing each other in a friendly way.
