WNBA star Kara Braxton’s horrifying cause of death has been announced.
News of Braxton’s death at the age of just 43 has shocked the WNBA.


It has been announced that Braxton died after a car crash in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday.
The former basketball star was behind the wheel of a 2023 Ford Mustang when it was involved in a single-vehicle collision.
She hit a concrete median on Interstate 285.
This incident happened at roughly 5pm.

The Cobb County Police Department has confirmed these details.
“The Ford continued in a northerly direction against the concrete wall until coming to rest on the left shoulder,”‘ the police statement read.
Braxton was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
But her death was confirmed shortly after arriving at the hospital.

She played college basketball for the Georgia Lady Bulldogs before declaring for the WNBA Draft in 2005.
The six-foot-six centre-forward gave birth to current North Carolina Tar Heels tight end Jelani Thurman before joining the league.
She was picked seventh overall in the 2005 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock.
Braxton helped the Shock to WNBA titles in 2006 and 2008.
Her success also saw Braxton named as a WNBA All-Star in 2007.
She moved with the Shock to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2010 before switching to the Phoenix Mercury shortly after.
This was followed by a move to the New York Liberty a season later before calling time on her impressive decade-long WNBA career in 2014.
A spokesperson for the Liberty has shared a touching statement on behalf of the team.
“We mourn the loss of Kara Braxton, a former Liberty player whose presence and passion left a lasting impact on our organization and the women’s game,” the spokesperson said.
“Our hearts are with her family, friends, teammates, and all who were touched by her spirit. Her impact will not be forgotten.”
