After four rounds of chemotherapy, she was declared cancer-free in July 2024. But her cancer battle doesn’t end there. She returned to YouTube this week for the first time in a year. Isabella Strahan took viewers through her first MRI since the cancer-free diagnosis.

“This was like, the hardest MRI I’ve ever done, personally. I usually like MRIs but this one—I don’t know if I was anxious or something—I could not just relax and it was rough,” Isabella Strahan candidly admitted.

The MRI took about two hours and she said it was really hot in the machine for some reason. Perhaps due to nerves. Isabella Strahan said she had to ask them to remove the blanket even though she usually requests several blankets.

Furthermore, she recalled feeling nauseous before the MRI. She chalked it up to anxiety over returning to the hospital for the first time in a year.

What The MRI Showed

Isabella Strahan may be free of cancer, but she’s not completely free and probably never will be. Most cancer patients have MRI scans done annually to keep an eye on things.

The good news is that Isabella Strahan’s first MRI after cancer was good. “There was not [any change on my scans]. Everything was good. If anything, they’re just monitoring the spot near my fourth ventricle to make sure it’s not getting compressed with fluid,” she said. “So we’re good for today, no new tumor growth.

No new tumor growth is what every patient wants to hear!
