The GMA hosts were fired from the morning program amid the major scandal. The couple stayed together despite the backlash. They launched a pop culture podcast with iHeartRadio in 2023. T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach also host a true crime podcast.
They have yet to return to television in the role of news anchors, but that might change soon. It is rumored that CBS is considering hiring the disgraced anchors. In an unexpected twist, the former spouses of T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach began dating after their respective divorces. As of late 2025, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig are still together. Amy Robach moved into her former co-anchor’s New York City home in 2024.
The couple revealed in October 2025 that they were engaged. T.J. Holmes said she was wearing her ring in public even before they announced their engagement, but no one noticed.
“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Amy Robach said. A friend close to the couple added, “Amy wanted the fairytale. T.J. wanted the photo op. The ring looks like his taste and her budget.”
