Savannah Guthrie has posted a new video on Instagram regarding her mother Nancy’s disappearance.

The Today show host took to the social media platform on February 9 and thanked everyone for their thoughts and prayers, since it was revealed that her mother was missing on February 1. Savannah, 54, began the video by telling her 1.6 million followers, “Hi there, everybody. I wanted to come on and just share a few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare.

“I just want to say first of all thank you so much for all of the prayers and the love that we have felt my sister, my brother and I. And that our mom has felt because we believe that somehow, someway she is feeling these prayers and that God is lifting her even in this darkest place.”

Savannah continued, “We believe our mom is still out there. We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly trying to bring her home, trying to find her.

“She was taken and we don’t know where, and we need your help. So, I’m coming on just to ask you, for not just your prayers, no matter where you are, even if you’re far from Tucson, if you see anything, hear anything, if there’s anything at all that seems strange to you that you report to law enforcement.”

One fan commented, “Savannah, I hope you know how loved you and your mom are by this entire country. Praying and believing she will be home soon,” and another said, “Haven’t stopped praying for you and your mom and your family.”

Savannah’s latest post comes hours after a disturbing new theory emerged regarding her mother’s disappearance.

In he last Instagram video, which was posted on February 7, Savannah – alongside her siblings, Annie and Camron – implored, “We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her.

“This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”

In an interview with Page Six, Tracy Walder, a former CIA officer and FBI special agent, dissected Savannah’s message, suggesting it appeared “very contrived” and “also scripted.

“I feel like they use a lot of coded language in there: ‘This is very valuable to us.’ ‘So that we can celebrate [with] her.’ That’s not normal words we use to describe a situation like this,” Tracy pointed out.

The ex-agent went on to say, “Is this a ransom for a dead body? Are we paying to get a body or a human back?

“Using words like ‘celebrate’ infers memorial or funeral, but it also infers they want to have a party when she comes home.”
