Now after undergoing major surgery, the star has given her first update to her fans.

Taking to social media, Savannah posted a heart warming image captioned: “See you soon.”

The snap showed her smiling and holding up a whiteboard with the message: “All good. Thanks for the prayers and love.”

A second said: “Can’t wait to hear that voice again soon.”

While a third said: “Glad to hear! Praying for a good recovery!”

A fourth exclaimed: “Wonderful news!!! I’m praying for you and wishing you well and a speedy recovery!”

And a fifth added: “Miss seeing you with Craig and Sheinelle. Love you. Heal fast and come back.”

Last month, Savannah told fans: “Some of you have noticed that my voice has been very scratchy and started to crack a little bit like Peter Brady, who was going through a change.”

“Well, I have found out what it is. I have vocal nodules, and now I also have a polyp.

“It’s not a big, big deal, but I am going to have a surgery real early in the new year and be off for a couple of weeks.

“So it’s my last day for a little while. So I just want to let everyone know, and if you’ve been wondering, do I have the world’s longest head cold? No, I don’t.”

Savannah said she will have to remain silent during her recovery.

“You’ll love this, guys. I have to be silent for a couple of weeks, totally silent. Christmas coming early for my family!” she joked, referring to husband Michael Feldman and kids Vale, 11, and Charley, 9.

“It’ll be great. You’ll be fine,” co-host Sheinelle Jones told her.

“Prayers for healing and recovery,” Craig Melvin chimed in.

Craig later told audiences that beloved anchor Sheinelle Jones will take the reins alongside him for the first hour of Today.

“Sheinelle is in for Savannah, and we’re wishing her a speedy recovery from her vocal chord surgery,” Craig announced, before going into the news of the day.
