Now she’s opened up about her sudden time off after being struck down with illness.

Writing on social media, Alyssa said: “Hey guys! I’ve been down sick with a stomach virus, but will hopefully be back on @theviewabc tomorrow.

“It’s no fun being sick while 6 ½+ months pregnant!”

She added: “Remember it’s that time of year – be smart, use hand sanitizer, stay home if you’re sick!”

More on Alyssa Farah Griffin

Alyssa announced her and husband Justin Griffin’s happy news earlier this year during an episode of The View.

The couple are expecting a baby boy who is due in February, and she later opened up about their journey to become parents.

Revealing they’d turned to IVF after failing to conceive naturally, Alyssa told how she’d been diagnosed with endometriosis.

She told People: “I went undiagnosed my whole life until I started this process.

“So that just added to the complications.”

Alyssa fell pregnant after five rounds of IVF, and continued: “Both Justin and I just feel so grateful that we were in the position that we were even able to do that many rounds of IVF.

“I consider it a miracle of science, and just such a wonderful thing that we’ve gotten to where we are now.

“So yeah, there [were] definitely some tears.”
