WHEEL of Fortune fans have spotted a telling clue that suggests Vanna White isn’t returning to the show next season.

Vanna has been a staple on the game show for over four decades, even after Ryan Seacrest took over as her co-host in 2024.

However, fans think she might be ending her run after she wasn’t included in a recent announcement about the show’s two-season renewal.

A March 25 press release revealed that Wheel of Fortune will return for Seasons 44 and 45, beginning in September 2026.

It noted that the longest-running syndicated game show is “hosted by Ryan Seacrest,” but there was no mention of Vanna.

Fans wondered if Vanna’s omission in the release hinted that she’s leaving the show after 43 years.

The 69-year-old joined the program in 1982 as the infamous letter-turner alongside then-host Pat Sajak.

Pat, 79, retired in 2024, passing his hosting duties over to Ryan, 51, and Vanna extended her contract through the 2025-2026 season.

However, Season 44 will run until the summer of 2027, which would be the beginning of a new contract.

In 2023, Vanna underwent lengthy salary talks before finally negotiating a deal with Sony for a higher paycheck.

According to People, Vanna fought for a significant salary increase that was near or equivalent to what Pat was making before his retirement.

A source also claimed to TMZ that Vanna had pushed for “a minimum of what is fair,” though the final agreed-upon amount is unknown.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Vanna makes an estimated $10 million annually from the show.

In March 2025, Vanna shocked fans when she revealed her tight filming schedule during an appearance on Elvis Duran and The Morning Show.

The TV personality shared that the show films just “34 days a year,” to which host Elvis jokingly noted that means she gets 331 days off per year.

“Yeah, I guess so. I’ve never looked at it like that,” the South Carolina native, who tied the knot with her longtime partner John Donaldson earlier this year, laughed.

In a 2024 interview, Vanna surprisingly admitted that she wasn’t needed on the show anymore because of technological advancements.

“When I first started, I had to physically turn every letter. Then they switched to TV monitors, so I just had to touch the letters, and they would light up,” Vanna recalled.

“Now the board is operated by a laser. It’s like a flat screen. And when I go to touch the letter, the laser catches my movement. It’s crazy, right?”

Despite this, many fans have already pegged Pat’s daughter, Maggie Sajak, as Vanna’s replacement when the time comes.

Maggie, 31, has worked as the show’s social media correspondent since 2021 and has appeared as a guest letter turner in the past.
