Fox News host Laura Ingraham sparked backlash after questioning ‘Project Epic Fury’ during a live broadcast.

Viewers were left stunned after the 62-year-old television presenter raised questions on air about the United States’ military strategy toward Iran.

The Fox News presenter appeared to challenge the progress of the operation during a recent show, referencing the launch of ‘Project Epic Fury’ while discussing tensions with Iran.

During the segment, Ingraham asked whether the strategy was actually achieving its goals.

“The night we launched Project Epic Fury,” she said. “But not that the United States is close to reaching its objective. Where are the Iranian uprisings?”

The comments come as tensions between the United States and Iran continue to rise following the launch of Operation Epic Fury, a major military campaign targeting Iranian military sites.

U.S. officials say the strikes were aimed at damaging Iran’s navy, missile systems and air power in a series of large-scale attacks.

Fighting in the region has disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil routes.

Nearly 20% of the world’s oil supply normally passes through the narrow waterway, meaning any disruption can send energy prices soaring and shake global markets.

Military leaders in Washington say the campaign is designed to weaken Iran’s ability to threaten the region.
