TODAY’S Jenna Bush Hager has suffered a significant wardrobe mishap while wearing a miniskirt in the studio.
The journalist shared the aftermath of a major spill that ruined her all-white ensemble on Thursday.
In a TikTok video, Jenna, 44, looked upset as she stood behind her desk in her office with a massive matcha stain on her skirt.
She seemed unsure how to handle the spillage, which covered her outfit, her chair, and a tan blanket draped over it.
The TV star showed her followers the mess in the brief clip, although she didn’t capture the clean-up or the clothes she presumably changed into after the unfortunate incident.
Jenna rocked a matching white skirt-and-blazer set with shimmering buttons along the front.
She paired it with black tights, and her short blonde hair fell straight down.
“Bahumbug…Grinch came early this year…,” Jenna joked in her caption.
Fans sympathized with the mom of three, as the tea disaster appeared to put a significant damper on her day.
“Noooooo! Not on the winter white suit!” one person commented.
“Nooooo omg the outfit was soooooo good today! Merry matcha!” said another.
“You looked so nice this morning. I really love your style. Better day tomorrow,” remarked a third.
“Oh my goodness your outfit is so pretty too. Hopefully, it comes clean,” a fourth added.
It was the second unexpected mishap to happen to the news anchor this month, after her co-host’s chair malfunctioned on-air.
The moment occurred when Brooke Shields filled in as Jenna’s guest co-host on Today‘s fourth hour segment, Jenna & Friends.
However, the morning didn’t go as they planned, as Brooke’s chair suddenly began sinking beneath her mid-conversation.
Jenna admitted that that had never happened on the show before and signaled for one of the producers’ help.
Brooke acted like a professional and poked fun at the issue, even propping one leg up under her to gain more height before a new chair was provided.
Jenna has had a revolving door of guest co-hosts since her former right-hand woman, Hoda Kotb, departed the show in January.
The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed in September that Sheinelle Jones was pegged as a frontrunner to become Jenna’s permanent co-host.
This was confirmed during the December 9th broadcast, where Jenna announced the news and shared happy tears with Sheinelle.
The segment was renamed to Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, and the duo will reunite for their first official show as co-hosts on January 12th.
According to the Today show website, Sheinelle will no longer host the third hour of the morning show alongside Craig Melvin, Al Roker, and Dylan Dreyer.
