THE VIEW has been forced to make a drastic change to its live show after heavy snowfall in New York City.

While tickets are typically available to fans, allowing them to take in the show in the studio, no tickets were released on Monday.

After a major snow storm hit the Big Apple and other parts of the United States on Sunday, continuing into the early hours of Monday, tickets to The View were not available on the show’s website.

Tickets are currently available to shows filming Tuesday through Friday, as well as shows filming in February.

Fans of The View took to a Reddit page dedicated to the daytime TV show to discuss the lack of tickets.

In a thread titled, “No show tomorrow (Monday),” a fan speculated that there would be no new episode due to the bad weather.

 

“Looks like due to the weather, there won’t be a live show tomorrow. Probably get a re-air of a recent episode,” they wrote.

Another commenter, claiming to be producer Brian Teta, assured viewers that’s not the case.

“There is a live show!” the Reddit user wrote.

In response to a fan questioning how the user obtained this information, he wrote, “It is Brian – and there’s no audience but a live show!”

 

Fans seemed OK with the decision, noting just how severe the storm was.

“East coast is brutal. Stay safe!” one viewer wrote.

“Eh that sucks but I get it,” another posted.

New York City was hit with 7 inches of snow on Sunday, leading to school closures across the city.

During the pandemic, The View hosts called into the show via video call in line with social distancing guidelines.

The TV personality was forced to take time away from the daytime talk show after suffering an injury.

After she badly bruised and broke on of her toes, The View began with Joy, 83, and her co-stars, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, already sitting at the table instead of walking out like they normally do.

 

It was later explained that this change was made to accommodate Joy, who is rocking a boot cast as a result of her injury.

Fans should anticipate the return of The View’s live audience on Tuesday.
