Savannah Guthrie Gets Major Vocal Chord Surgery
Savannah Guthrie is a fan favorite host on The Today Show. She brings a lot of joy to viewers’ televisions. However, she recently had a major vocal chord surgery. This is something that has needed to be done for years. However, she finally bit the bullet and had it done. This was something that was going to keep her out of work for at least a couple of weeks. So, it was difficult for her to do. Fans miss Savannah as she is a favorite on the talk show. However, they also want her to take her time recovering and getting better. She did update fans that she was feeling good.
She Gets Replaced, Familiar Face Joins Show
Craig Melvin has revealed who is going to fill in for Savannah Guthrie while she is away. It has been revealed that Sheinelle Jones will be taking her spot for a bit.
“Sheinelle is in for Savannah, and we’re wishing her a speedy recovery from her vocal chord surgery,”
He then went into the news for the day. They announced this on Monday’s broadcast. Sheinelle is also a favorite. It was recently revealed that she would be taking over and becoming Jenna Bush Hager’s permanent co-host on Jenna & Friends. She was without a co-host for a while, so the decision was shocking to a lot of people. However, Sheinelle will just be holding Savannah’s spot until she is back.
It seems as though Sheinelle Jones will be by Craig Melvin’s side during the first hour of Today. This is something that fans loved seeing. However, this is only for the time being, as Savannah will be back when she is fully recovered. Fans love Sheinelle, so this is a good fill-in. She is Jenna’s permanent co-host on Jenna & Friends.
