As noted by Monsters & Critics, Sara Haines of The View fame, recently talked about Strahan on the Behind the Table podcast. Notably, she also worked with Strahan on Good Morning America.

Talking with executive producer Brian Teta, Haines mentioned, that Michael and his daughters, Isabella and her twin, Sophia, were “perfect to tell this brave journey.” She continued that, “Michael Strahan is a legendary football player. In this country, football players are kings, and he’s a Hall of Famer.”

“[Strahan] has so much money from a career that went from family and all his contracts to all that he does now. He can’t slow down. He can’t have less than five jobs or he’s pretty much unemployed to himself.”

Haines Also Talked About Isabella’s ‘Life-Defining Moment’

Haines continued, “He rakes it in. Nothing could have prevented or stopped him. Nothing gave him power to help her more.” However, as she went on, even Strahan could only do so much when dealing with his daughter’s diagnosis. As she put it, “The journey, the fight, he was powerless.”

“[Michael] was everything we assign as dominance, masculinity, strength. ‘I can do anything.’ But he couldn’t help [his daughter during her battle].”

On the other hand, Haines described the situation as a “life-defining moment” for Isabella. She continued, “I’m so happy to be on this side of it.”

As previously reported, Isabella has since been declared cancer-free. Over the months, she has kept fans updated on her life, from showcasing her hair growth to showing her return to college.

“In some ways, it’s such a life-defining moment. Her whole life could be built around this. Everything from her vlog, going onward. Her appreciation for just a day- just a random Tuesday in any month, will never change now.”
