On NBC Nightly News on Monday, March 2, Tom Llamas reported that Today host Savannah Guthrie and her siblings left a heartfelt message for their missing mother, Nancy, as they visited a makeshift tribute set up outside of the 84-year-old’s Tucson, Arizona, home.

Nancy has been missing since February 1 and is presumed to have been abducted from her home after investigators found blood evidence and video from doorbell camera of a masked person holstering a gun near the front door.

As the search for Nancy reaches the one-month mark, the 54-year-old television personality, her sister Annie, and brother-in-law Tommaso Cioni visited the desert home and left a heartfelt note for their beloved mother. This update comes after a mystery man who claimed he “saw Nancy 5 days ago” offered chilling new proof.

A community tribute was set up outside Nancy’s home, featuring images of Nancy, handwritten messages, candles, and rows of yellow flowers.

Savannah, Annie, and Tommaso, escorted by police, approached the tribute arm-in-arm, leaving bouquets of yellow flowers and a handwritten note written on folded white paper, which was shared by the 46-year-old anchor on Monday night.

The note, shared by the anchor during a breaking news segment, read, “Mama, We miss you so much! Our hearts are broken! We are standing on ash, on scorched earth! But mom, though we are surrounded by so much darkness and uncertainty, our love burns bright.”

Savannah, Annie, and Tommaso were seen crying and hugging in front of their mother’s home, where she was last seen on January 31 after a family dinner. The siblings have pleaded on social media for their mother’s return, acknowledging that after one month, she may already be gone.

During his report, Tom said, “Tonight, we want you to share that message. All it takes is one tip,” adding, “It’s time to bring her home.”

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI have teamed up to investigate Nancy’s disappearance, which is being treated as an abduction.

Despite detaining multiple people for questioning, police have not publicly named any suspects or persons of interest connected to Nancy’s disappearance. Nancy’s family, including her son-in-law, who was the last person to see her on January 31, has been officially cleared by investigators.

The FBI released images and video footage from a doorbell camera near the front door of the home where blood belonging to Nancy was found. The masked person in the video appeared to be tampering with the camera and was holstering a gun.

As the search for Nancy hits the one-month mark, investigators have received thousands of tips.

A $1 million reward is being offered for information on Nancy’s whereabouts.
