The hunt for Nancy Guthrie has stretched beyond two months, with a neighbor now sharing insights about residents in the Tucson, Arizona area. Aldine Meister, who has resided near the 84-year-old for years, spoke with authorities after Nancy was reported missing. Savannah Guthrie’s mother was last observed on January 31, with her family notifying police of her disappearance the following day.
Authorities questioned Aldine about the neighborhood, and she disclosed there’s “an abandoned house at the end of the street and somebody had just moved out next to us.”
This follows a criminal attorney highlighting the 6 major red flags in Nancy’s case that “don’t add up.” Aldine appeared on Brian Entin Investigates, discussing with the host the neighbors who departed. She acknowledged, “I thought that was kind of weird because they had lived there a long time as well.” It comes after a mystery man who claimed he “saw Nancy 5 days ago” offered chilling new proof.

Brian then inquired about the people residing in Tucson. “I don’t wanna judge anybody, but are there people in the neighborhood that you’ve been concerned about in the past?” he asked.
Aldine responded, “Not really. I mean, I kind of know the walkers and definitely around the holidays, you’ll see the people who are winter visitors and things like that. So no, nobody that I’ve ever run into that I thought was odd.”
Brian pressed further, asking, “No one like, really creepy or anything?” Aldine hesitated to provide any names before stating, “I think there’s a lot of weird people that live in this neighborhood, yeah. For sure.”

The host then questioned whether Aldine’s neighbors had been sharing information with the FBI about suspicious individuals in the vicinity, to which Aldine confirmed, “Yes, I think so. Especially my neighbor.
“Something that stood out to them?” Brian inquired. Aldine explained, “Yeah, because he walks his little dogs every day and was telling me, actually yesterday, about all the different things that he noticed.”
During another portion of the interview, Aldine disclosed she encountered a “strange man” in their neighborhood mere weeks before Nancy vanished. The encounter left her feeling “freaked out.
“I couldn’t make out his face, although his hat was way down. He was walking down the road, I saw him and I was like, ‘Ohhhhh that guy doesn’t fit. He was kinda hunched over, not in walking or hiking gear. He was dressed in street clothing,” she elaborated. “So I thought that was weird because that’s not normal.”
Aldine described how the person moved “kind of going slowly” and appeared to study Nancy’s residence carefully. “It freaked me out and I’m not one of these people to be super freaked out by that but I was like, ‘That’s weird,'” she stated.
Aldine also confirmed she reported her observations to authorities. This follows Nancy Guthrie’s neighbor delivering an unsettling eight-word characterization of the suspected abductor. It comes after the Guthrie search took a shock twist with cadaver dogs – and an alarming explanation is emerging.
