Fox News host Jesse Watters questioned why investigators didn’t reveal which family member dropped off Nancy Guthrie at her home on Saturday night.
Jesse Watters has shared a conspiracy theory about Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance on live TV.
The Fox News host, 47, questioned the actions of law enforcement officials investigating the woman’s disappearance, claiming that “mistakes may have been made” in the ongoing search.
On Thursday’s edition of Jesse Watters Primetime, he discussed the timeline of the woman’s disappearance from her home in Tucson, Arizona.
On his show, Jesse questioned why investigators were refusing to reveal which family member dropped Nancy off on Saturday night, even though Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos had previously said that Savannah Guthrie’s brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, who is married to her sister Annie, was the one who brought her back home after dinner.
Jesse said, “Nancy Guthrie took an Uber over to her daughter’s house nearby. The daughter is named Annie [Guthrie]. She lives with her husband Tommaso [Cioni].

“Dinner, games, normal night. At 9.48, a family member dropped her back off at home. But who?”
He then played a clip from Thursday’s press conference, in which the sheriff and FBI officials said Nancy was dropped off by an unnamed family member.
“We’re going to go with family, just family,” the sheriff said. Jesse said, “Why won’t they tell us which family member dropped her off? Because yesterday the sheriff told The New York Times who it was.”
He then read a quote from Nanos who said, “‘Ms. Guthrie’s son-in-law Tommaso Cioni dropped her off and ensured she made it inside safely before leaving, the sheriff added.'”
Jesse said, “If they know who dropped her off, why a day later are they being so vague?”
The TV host then suggested that “mistakes may have been made” as he said, “Authorities initially cleared the scene, Nancy’s house. Then yesterday they went back in.”
Jesse’s comments came after Savannah’s brother renewed the family’s plea for their mother’s kidnapper to contact them, hours after Nanos said investigators don’t have proof Nancy is alive but believe “she’s still out there.”
“Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you. We haven’t heard anything directly,” Camron Guthrie said in a video posted on social media.
“We need you to reach out and we need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward,” but first the family needs to know the kidnapper has their mother, he said, echoing a statement his famous sister read the day before.

Five days into the desperate search for 84-year-old Nancy, authorities have not identified any suspects or persons of interest, Nanos said.
Authorities think she was taken against her will from her home in Tucson over the weekend. DNA tests showed blood found on Nancy’s front porch was a match to her, the sheriff said.
“Right now, we believe Nancy is still out there. We want her home,” Nanos said at a news conference earlier on Thursday. He acknowledged, however, that authorities have no evidence she’s okay.
Investigators said they are taking seriously notes seeking ransom that were sent to some media outlets. It’s unclear if all of the notes were identical.
Heith Janke, the FBI chief in Phoenix, said details included a demand for money with a Thursday evening deadline and a second deadline for Monday if the first one wasn’t met. At least one note mentioned a floodlight at Nancy’s home and an Apple watch, Janke said.
