In addition, Watters is known for his role as a co-host on The Five. Recently, Watters inspired a few reactions with a few comments talking about the appearance of people involved in MAGA.
During the episode, Watters shared some flattering words for Republicans, including the Trump family. At the time, he shared, “Republicans are just better looking. All of the cutaways to these Democrats are sad.”
“It’s a sad look that our cabinet is more attractive, the Trump family is more attractive, I’m sorry. It’s just the truth.”
These comments were part of a conversation about the appearance of Democrats at the State of the Union address, which broke records as the longest SOTU address. The speech was made up of multiple moments, such as President Trump asking the audience to stand if they agreed that the government should prioritize protecting American citizens over illegal aliens, to one person appearing to fall asleep.
Many Commenters Responded By Sharing Photos, Others Talked About The Importance Of Appearances
Following this exchange, many commenters took to social media to share an interesting response to Watters’ compliment to Republicans and the Trump family. As explained by The U.S. Express, this included sharing photos of various MAGA men.
One commenter shared a photo of Donald Trump without makeup at Mar-a-Lago. The X user wrote, “Fox thinks this is more attractive FFS.”
On the other hand, other commenters felt that it was inappropriate to focus too much on appearances in the first place. As one person was quoted, “Republicans bragging about being ‘more attractive’ is adorable. Meanwhile, Democrats are over here trying to protect democracy, not win ‘America’s Next Top Model: Authoritarian Edition.’”
As the outlet noted, another shared a photo of Trump with his mouth wide open, writing, “Suuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrre [sic].” Other MAGA figures whose images were used in the viral moment included Kash Patel, JD Vance, and Kristi Noem.
