Sam Champion Undergoes Emergency Heart Procedure
Sam Champion had to have an emergency heart procedure over the weekend. This is not something that was expected. He had shortness of breath. So, the doctor ordered a stress test. However, on this, they found that he had to have a stent put in. However, this was unexpected, and it came out of nowhere. People were glad that the doctors took this seriously for Sam. This way, they caught it before anything bad happened. It was just in time.
He Returns To Good Morning America After The Surgery
Sam Champion has returned to Good Morning America after his surgery. Fans were shocked to see him back so soon. However, he spoke out about it all.
“It’s nice to be here. I had a little bit of a heart scare over the weekend that led to an urgent procedure. You know me, I think I’m healthy, I think I have an active lifestyle. It’s something I love to do, really. And a lot of my tests said I was pretty healthy. But one test ended up saving my life. I want to share that with you.”
He was thankful that he was able to get it taken care of. However, he thought he was healthy and did not think this would have been the case.
It seems as though Sam is doing much better. He is supposed to be taking things easy. However, he was able to return to work. His co-hosts were glad to see him back on set, as they were worried about him as well. However, he was able to take care of his health, and nothing bad happened from it. He encouraged fans to take symptoms seriously and get things figured out as soon as possible.
