‘OUTRAGED!’ Kelly Ripa calls husband Mark Consuelos a ‘MONSTER’ for asking guest caller ‘horrific’ question live on air

KELLY Ripa isn’t too happy with her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos, over his shocking question to a guest on-air.

Mark appeared to get himself into hot water on Wednesday’s broadcast of Live with Kelly and Mark.

If he guesses incorrectly, the player is awarded a Live! mug and a “Stump Mark” t-shirt.

However, Mark was determined to win and took drastic measures to ensure that happened.

The caller, Lisa Best from Chattanooga, presented the TV star with two possible scenarios.

The first was that she participated in Georgia’s famed Dolly Day Festival, and the other was that she performed at the Grand Ole Opry with her clogging team in seventh grade

Mark asked Lisa multiple questions to get further details about both stories.

An Instagram poll also showed that 79 percent of viewers believed the Dolly Day story, while only 21 percent were convinced that she’d performed at the Opry.

Despite the poll results highly leaning toward Dolly Day being true, Mark admitted he struggled to decide.

“I don’t know, I was thinking the opposite. This is tough,” the Riverdale star said, and noted his winning streak.

“I’m having a record May.”

In a desperate attempt to secure a victory, Mark made an unexpected move that had Kelly and the live studio audience appalled.

“I’m going to do something that may ruffle some feathers, but I’m going to do it,” Mark said before asking Lisa if she had children.

Lisa confirmed, prompting Mark to continue with his next question.

“Do you swear on your kids that you participated in the Dolly Day Festival?” the TV personality asked.

“Mark! WHAT?!” Lisa responded.

Kelly had the same reaction while immediately shutting down her husband’s request.

“What! Do not, no—” she said, but Mark cut her off.

“—No, no. I’m doing it!” he insisted.

“You are not! You are not doing it,” Kelly demanded before addressing the caller, “Lisa, you do not have to answer that question.”

While Lisa refused to answer, Kelly proceeded to scold Mark for seemingly crossing the line.

“What kind of a monster are you!” she asked Mark, who simply stated, “I want to win!”

The audience was apparently also stunned by Mark’s question, as Kelly pointed out, “They are horrified! “People are gagged! They are shocked! They are outraged!”

Mark’s tactics didn’t work in the end, as he guessed that the Grand Ole Opry story was a lie, but Lisa revealed it to be true.

“AND THAT’S WHAT YOU GET, MARK!” Kelly shouted at her husband.

“Wow. I guess the old adage, ‘God will get you back!’” Mark said.

“God will get you back!” his co-host agreed.

Lisa was rewarded with a mug and a t-shirt, as well as $2,000 after playing the “Deep Dive Travel Trivia” game that followed.
