Kianna Underwood, a former child star best known for her role on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series ‘All That,’ has died after being struck in a hit-and-run.

Kianna Underwood, a former child actress recognized for her part in Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy show “All That,” has passed away following a hit-and-run collision in Brooklyn. She was 33.

The New York Police Department told Page Six that officers were called to the scene at approximately 6:49 a.m. local time in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood.

A statement from the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information indicated that early findings showed a gray vehicle traveling westbound collided with an unidentified woman.

 

“A preliminary investigation determined a gray vehicle was traveling westbound and struck an unidentified female,” their statement read, confirming that she had “sustained severe trauma to the head and body.”

When emergency medical services reached the location, “she was pronounced deceased on scene,” according to the statement.

The Deputy Commissioner additionally confirmed that the driver “did not remain on scene.”

No one has been arrested, and the investigation continues.

Underwood, who grew up in New York City, launched her acting journey at age 7. Her big break came in 2005 when she became part of “All That” in its 10th season, featuring in the enduring children’s sketch comedy series.

Her resume also boasts a yearlong run on the first national tour of the Broadway musical Hairspray, where she portrayed Little Inez. Additionally, she lent her voice to the Nick Jr. animated series Little Bill, voicing the character Fuchsia.

Following her stint in television, Underwood retreated to New York City and largely stepped away from the public eye.

 

In 2023, a video surfaced on social media that appeared to show Underwood in a state of distress. In the clip, she can be seen braiding her hair while answering questions from off-camera individuals asking her to identify herself.

“Kianna Underwood from ‘All That’ on Nickelodeon,” she confirmed to the camera, reiterating that she was indeed a part of the show.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the hit-and-run to come forward. The investigation into the early morning incident is ongoing as detectives strive to identify and locate the driver who left the scene.
