TODAY’S Craig Melvin made a major slip-up when he revealed a huge Devil Wears Prada 2 spoiler live on TV.

TV presenter Craig, 46, was joined by fellow co-host Jenna Bush Hager, 44, for Wednesday’s show as they discussed the highly-anticipated sequel.

But getting caught up in the excitement, Craig made a huge mistake and revealed that co-anchor Jenna was making a cameo in the film.

Melvin told viewers: “By the way, you know how that movie’s going to be good?”

“You know how I can tell? JBH is in it!”

The camera then cut to a shocked Jenna, who was left open-mouthed by the blunder.

A stunned Jenna said: “I don’t know that you were supposed to drop that bomb, but if you’re…”

Co-host Savannah Guthrie, who returned to the show earlier this week as mum Nancy’s abduction enters the third month, said: “This is live. You cannot tell Craig anything!”

Melvin insisted: “I thought it was common knowledge?”

Weatherman Al Roker quipped: “It is now!”

Melvin looked shocked and said: “Cut it out for the other feeds! Sorry about that JBH.”

Savannah joked: “Why don’t you read your journal while you’re at it?”

It is not known just yet what role Jenna will be playing, but fans will remember the time she dressed up as former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour alongside Savannah, who opted for a Miranda Priestly costume.

In the sequel, Miranda Priestly is still the head of Runway, but Blunt’s character Emily Charlton, former assistant to Miranda, is now an executive at a luxury brand that advertises with Runway.

Emily now holds the power that Miranda needs to help her magazine, while Andy is now a magazine editor but is dragged back into Miranda’s world.

Meanwhile, at the end of the original film, it’s hinted that Andy and partner Nate went their separate ways.

Nate took a job in Boston and Andy left Runway to start her new role at a local newspaper.

Last June, Emily told Entertainment Tonight that she was going to start shooting the sequel in July.

She said: “It’s so weird, I haven’t even read a script, I don’t know. I’m just like, where is she, I don’t know.”

Anne was then spotted filming scenes in New York City.

She was seen in a colour block maxi dress by Gabriela Hearst with a blue suitcase and another snap she was pictured in a dark pinstripe suit with black boots and messenger bag.

And in August Anne Hathaway, who plays Andrea “Andy” Sachs in the movie, was seen taking a tumble down some stairs while filming.

Wearing sunglasses, the screen star may not have been fully aware of the bric steps lying in wait, but after walking down the first one, she became unsteady and fell down the rest, landing on her bum at the bottom.

It did not appear to be part of the script, with producers then seen rushing over to assist as the heel could clearly be seen broken off the shoe on her right foot.

Several OG cast members from the original Hollywood flick, including Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, will make their comeback for the long-awaited follow-up.

The Devil Wears Prada grossed $326 million at the worldwide box office, with Streep receiving an Oscar nomination.
