Fox News halted its programming to present President Donald Trump, 79, at his street naming ceremony, where he shared his thoughts on far-right political activist Laura Loomer.

During his Fox News speech, Trump mentioned Loomer. Loomer is known as a staunch GOP ally and a Trump supporter within the administration. She became a loyalty enforcer for Trump after he returned to office in January. Within the first six months of the second Trump administration, personnel found themselves axed if they ended up in the crosshairs of Loomer.

During the ceremony, Trump was in mid-speech when he held out his hand and called her out. He said, “Hi Laura! You are something. What spirit you have. Laura Loomer. Thank you, honey, for being here.”

“You know, she can be a little nasty. To me, she’s always nice.”

He went on, “I want her to stay that way. That’s all that matters.”

“I want her to stay that way too,” Trump jested, which made the crowd laugh.

Last year, Loomer issued a dire warning to the Republican party as she predicted the party might not survive after President Trump leaves office. She took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and suggested that within the political party there were “too many conflicting personalities.”

She tweeted, “I don’t think the GOP is going to survive post-Trump.”

“There’s too many conflicting personalities trying to jockey for the mantle to MAGA, and none of them have what it takes to be Trump’s successor,” she added. “We are witnessing the end of a future post-MAGA movement as we know it because everyone inside the ‘big tent’ the GOP forced on us realizes that they hate each other.”

“There won’t be a viable political movement post-MAGA,” she continued. “You can see the writing on the wall. Nobody has what it takes.”

Loomer’s comments drew several mixed feelings from X users, who name-dropped Vice President JD Vance, who recently shared never-before-seen angle of the fatal incident, in which an ICE officer fatally shot the late Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, and touted him as a potential figure in a future administration.

“I don’t know… I really hate seeing the infighting, bums me out, though I understand the passion on both sides,” one person wrote.

“But I do see JD Vance coming out on top as the leader of the MAGA movement,” the person added. “He has pleasantly surprised me more than anyone else in the Trump administration.”

“If anyone has it, it’s JD Vance. Do you disagree?” a second person added.

A third commentator stated that they “had faith in JD Vance.”

Although Vance was being spearhead as a successor, one naysayer mentioned, “The irony is MAGA was built to be a cult of one, not a sustainable political movement. Without Trump, the glue that holds the grievance coalition together melts away, leaving only egos, grudges, and power grabs.”
