Several of Hollywood’s elite have taken to their social media platforms to voice their concern about the tensions between Minnesotans and ICE agents after Alex Pretti’s death

Many celebrities have made their thoughts about ICE and their raids very clear, especially in the wake of yet another fatal shooting in Minnesota, this time claiming the life of Alex Pretti.

A wave of Hollywood elite have taken to their social media platforms in recent days to voice their concern about the growing tensions between Minnesotans and ICE agents after two Minneapolis residents—Pretti, an ICU nurse, and motherRenée Good, both 37—were fatally shot by federal immigration agents during separate incidents.

In the wake of the developments, celebrities including Ariana Grande, Edward Norton, Billie Eilish, and Natalie Portman, who slammed ICE as the “worst in humanity” in blistering rant at Sundance, have publicly expressed their concerns, encouraged others to speak up and demand change, and even taken a moment to slam the Trump administration.

 

Eilish not only called out federal immigration agents in Minneapolis, but also her fellow stars who hadn’t spoken out against ICE. Meanwhile, Grande shared a link to a directory of resources in her Instagram Stories, as Jennifer Aniston shared a simple supportive message to all Minnesotans.
