Paula Faris, a former host on The View, sent a strong message to the investigators involved in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie.

The 84-year-old mother of the Today Show host was reported missing from her residence in Catalina Foothills, Arizona, on Sunday. The investigation revealed there were indications of a forced entry at her residence and multiple personal belongings, including Nancy’s cellphone, wallet, medications, and vehicle, were all still at her property. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos is in charge of the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance and believes she may have been abducted while she was sleeping.

On Fox News‘ broadcast of The Will Cain Show on Friday, anchor Brian Kilmeade – who filled in during the program – spoke with the former The View host. Faris, 50, appeared on the ABC ‘s morning talk show for three seasons. The ex-host joined in the summer of 2015 before leaving the panel in July 2018.

During the interview, Faris shared the details of her text message to Savannah.

She said, “I texted Savannah earlier this week. ‘Prayers of a nation are with you.'”

“We are just praying for wisdom,” Faris pressed in her message. “Wisdom for this investigation and the investigators.”

“If there is one word I want everyone to take into this weekend, you know, prayer is power,” she went on.

Faris finished, “Let’s pray for breakthrough in this investigation.”

Meanwhile, the FBI is now working the case jointly with the Pima County sheriff’s department.

He indicated that Nancy was abducted sometime between 9.45 p.m. Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

The are no suspects, and no person of interest so far in the investigation.
