Kid Rock has hit back at Conan O’Brien after the comedian mocked his alternative Super Bowl show during Sunday night’s Oscars.

Kid Rock seems to be furious after Conan O’Brien made fun of him at the Oscars.
The comedien, 62, roasted Kid Rock at the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15. O’Brien took aim at the musician during his opening monologue, mocking the alternative Super Bowl halftime show Kid Rock headlined.
“I warn you this could get political — if that makes you uncomfortable Kid Rock is hosting an alternate Oscars at a Dave and Busters down the street,” O’Brien said at the awards show.
The comedian joked there would be “a lot of tickets” left for the alternative Oscars show.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, has now spoken out about the Oscars dig as he slammed O’Brien. Taking to X, the 55-year-old posted, “I love a good joke, even when I am the butt of it, unfortunately this was not a very good one.”
He then completely changed the subject and took the opportunity to promote his upcoming tour. “Either way, if you want to see a REAL good show this spring / summer that celebrates America and 250 years of Freedom – make sure you buy your tickets from (ugh) Ticketmaster for my Freedom 250 tour – The Road To Nashville,” he begged.
He added, “There is a reason for this, TRUST ME!” Kid Rock concluded his post by sharing a link to the Ticketmaster website to buy tickets for his tour.
Kid Rock was mocked in the comments as many criticized him for not being able to take a joke. “It was a little funny though,” one person wrote.
“It was a solid joke,” another person insisted as a third social media critic posted, “We know you love a good joke. You support Trump!” Someone else added, “It was hilarious. Thank you for being a joke that keeps giving.”
A fifth person urged, “Idk, that’s kind of funny lol…don’t be a sore loser,” as another posted on X, “It was funny. You’re a failed entertainer. How’s it going with your summer tour?”
Kid Rock has been mocked repeatedly online after headling the Turning Point USA halftime show, which was set up to rival Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl show. Many MAGA funs were furious at the NFL’s decision to choose Bad Bunny as the headliner due to the fact he’s from Puerto Rico and is a Spanish language performer.
Kid Rock has also been slammed for his outspoken support of President Donald Trump and his past use of the Confederate flag.
He’s faced setbacks recently as several artists have pulled out of his upcoming Rock The Country tour after critics branded it a “MAGA festival.”
