As reports continue to surface regarding Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie’s missing 84 year old mother Nancy, social media posts have shown the family’s last gathering during the Christmas holiday.
An image posted to Nancy’s Facebook page depicts Savannah and her mother standing before a Christmas tree, alongside the extended family, including Savannah’s husband, Michael Feldman, and their two children Vale, 11, and Charley, nine. Everyone in the photograph is smiling, dressed in black-and-yellow flannel pants and black long-sleeve shirts featuring Christmas trees.
The post was captioned, “Merry Christmas sweet ones.” Nancy, a mother-of-three, was reported missing from her $1 million residence in Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday, January 31. Pima County Sheriff Christopher Nanos characterized the circumstances as prompting “grave concern.”

Authorities say Nancy was last observed at 9.45 p.m on January 31 when she was returned to her residence after attending a church event. Alarm was raised the following morning when she did not appear at mass, reports the Irish Star.
The Pima Sheriff’s Office received the missing person notification on February 1.
Following preliminary searches of the vicinity, including deployment of drones and canines, operations were “shut down” with the Sheriff’s office declaring Nancy’s residence officially a “crime scene.”
Investigators disclosed that troubling evidence was found inside the home, indicating she did not “voluntarily walk out of her home.”

Authorities suspect she was taken during the nighttime hours. In a social media post, Savannah wrote, “We believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. we believe in goodness. we believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him.
“Please pray,” she went on to share a Bible verse, “We need you. ‘He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.’ a verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us.”
Savannah ended her message with a heartbreaking three-word appeal: “Bring her home.”
A source revealed to the Daily Mail, “Her stuff was left behind at the house: keys, ID, purse, phone. Everything.”
Nancy’s vital medication also remained at the residence, which could prove fatal if not taken within 24 hours.
“She didn’t take any of the things you would normally take if you voluntarily went out,” the source explained. The suspected kidnapping has stunned the typically peaceful neighborhood, with residents calling the situation “very unusual.”
Savannah missed work on Monday after flying to Arizona to assist in searching for her mother. On the Today Show, she released a statement: “On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support. Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom.”
Savannah was set to host NBC’s coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony in Italy beginning Friday. Given recent developments, her attendance remains uncertain.
