As law authorities continue the search for missing Nancy Guthrie, amateur investigators have pointed out the eerie and chilling sounds surrounding her family’s Arizona home.

Nancy, 84, was kidnapped during the night of January 31 after she’d been dropped home by her son-in-law following a family dinner. Concerns were raised on February 1 when Nancy didn’t show up to her usual 11 am church service in Tucson, Arizona. A congregant then alerted Nancy’s family, who contacted the authorities.

Once police arrived at the mother of three’s home, they quickly found blood at the property’s entrance and evidence suggesting a forced entry. Searches have been ongoing alongside two video appeals from Nancy’s daughter, Today Show star Savannah Guthrie, and her siblings, who are begging for her safe return.

With attention following the investigation, many social media accounts have been sharing details, including one Twitter account run by Jonathan Lee Riches, who describes himself as an ‘Investigative Reporter.’

He shared an eerie clip from late at night outside Nancy’s daughter Annie’s home in Arizona, where several coyotes could be heard howling in the background, and police cars were parked in front.

The video was shared with the caption, “Coyotes & cops at Annie Guthrie’s house.” Some other social media users have been quick to respond, as one replied, “Oh yeah they’re tellin them there’s a body there.”

Another felt similar, adding, “That’s creepy as hell.”

However, some were quick to point out that authorities being present and police sirens likely riled them, as one person wrote, “Must have more search parties looking around the house that riled them up.” Another shared, “They sound like they are trying to mimic the siren, my German Shepherd always sings along.”

n the clip, Savannah addressed the camera as she and her family confirmed they would meet the ransom demands for their mother’s return. She said, “We received your message, and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”

The video comes after alleged ransom notes were sent to several media outlets – including TMZ and CNN affiliate KOLD-TV – asking for millions of dollars in bitcoin for Nancy’s return. The video also follows local police acquiring surveillance footage from a neighborhood store, potentially showing a vehicle linked to the case.
