White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt appeared to dismiss reporters during her conference after citing an unusual pregnancy comment made by Republican Senator Josh Hawley.

Hawley posted on X, sharing a short video from his Senate hearing on Wednesday. In it, Hawley questioned OB-GYN Dr. Nisha Verma about whether men could become pregnant, which was meant to be yet another attack on transgender individuals.

He captioned the post, “SPOILER ALERT: Men cannot get pregnant.”

During her press conference today, Leavitt referenced Hawley’s post, while also labeling a journalist as a ‘left-wing activist’ in what became an uncomfortable exchange.

One reporter posed a two-part inquiry, “One follow-up on Greenland. You reportedly sent troops over there. Does that change at all what the president is doing on this?” This follows an incident involving an out-of-control ICE agent who reportedly shouted a vile 3-word slur before firing at a woman five times, reports the Mirror US.

The reporter continued, “Yesterday, during a Senate hearing, Senator Josh Hawley repeatedly asked a doctor if men can get pregnant, which she did not directly answer. What are your thoughts on that?”

“And to your second question, I mean, anyone in their right mind, with common sense, will honestly and candidly say that men cannot get pregnant.”

Leavitt, who is pregnant with her second child, smiled before responding, “To your first question on Greenland, I don’t think troops in Europe will impact the President’s decision-making process. Nor does it impact his goal of the acquisition of Greenland at all.”

She chuckled and concluded, “I think I can attest to that myself.”

Leavitt then quickly exited the podium, disregarding the press who were shouting additional questions.

Last year, President Trump launched a harsh critique of Hawley. The senator voted with Democrats to move forward a bill prohibiting stock trading for the president, vice president, and members of Congress.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump accused Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri of targeting and undermining him. The president labeled the bill a review of Nancy Pelosi’s Stock Trading over the last 25 years.

“Earlier in the day, Trump reportedly told a journalist that he initially liked the bill “conceptually.” Trump chastised the senator and accused him of “playing right into the dirty hands of the Democrats.

The president continued, “The Democrats, because of our tremendous ACHIEVEMENTS and SUCCESS, have been trying to ‘Target’ me for a long period of time, and they’re using Josh Hawley, whom I got elected TWICE, as a pawn to help them,” Trump added.The president ended with, “I don’t think real Republicans want to see their President, who has had unprecedented success, TARGETED, because of the ‘whims’ of a second-tier Senator named Josh Hawley!

“During the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs vote, Hawley stated, “I practice what I preach,”Trump scolded the senator and accused him of “I don’t have individual stocks, I don’t trade in stocks. I’m not a billionaire, unlike others on this committee,” he continued. “And what I think is, the American people are sending us a clear message.”

This follows after Leavitt, who was labeled as ‘spineless,’ was questioned about ‘how he sleeps at night’ following some startling comments.
