Some Fox News viewers were left marveling that a show host who has often been quick to defend the Trump administration seemed to have finally “had enough” after the killing of Alex Pretti, but others were left still being critical of her previous standpoints.

Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse, was shot and killed by ICE officers in Minneapolis on Saturday, January 24, with video from the incident showing him being tackled by agents prior to his shooting.

In an official statement after the incident, the Department of Homeland Security claimed in a statement that Pretti wanted to “do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement,” a claim that has been met with reproach from many. It comes as an agent shockingly had a body part bitten off by a protester – and they were caught.

One person who also appeared not to support that narrative was Fox host Maria Bartiromo, who took to the airwaves in an interview with Republican Rep. James Comer and seemed emotional, calling out the narrative that had been painted since.

“Another individual is dead at the hands of Border Patrol,” she said. “Let’s be clear. We do not know if there was any pushback from this individual who was armed. We do not have evidence that he was waving a gun, doing anything to threaten Border Patrol.”

“He had his phone, and he was shooting, he was viewing and recording the incident,” she continued. “That’s what he was doing, recording the incident. What is your reaction, and you are an elected official, what can you do about it?”

Comer then replied, commenting that the situation in Minneapolis was due to the Governor, Tim Walz, and Mayor, Jacob Frey, citing that the Washington, D.C. mayor worked with the administration when the National Guard was activated in in the territory, while the others were “getting people jacked up” that their “lived were threatened” in a situation where ICE was only targeting “illegal criminals.”

However, many noted that Bartiromo seemed upset as she started questioning the representative, leading some to comment that she may have “had enough” after she rarely went “offsides” with the administration.

“Wow..Maria Bartiromo seems to be legit upset about the killing of Alex Pretti. It’s very rare for her to be offsides with the Trump administration,” Aaron Rupar wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“One by one people waking up…” another commented.

“Good, nice to see a fox person have actual empathy for an innocent person,” another added.

“A rare moment when Maria remembered to take her meds and could see clearly,” a third said.

“Well typically your eyes work better once you’ve extracted your head from the President’s rectum,” a fourth added.

Others shared that while it was somewhat commendable that she had “enough,” they also didn’t have sympathy for her or others because of their role in getting the Trump administration elected again.

“So does it turn out that some of these people are finally having enough? I’m sorry but I have little sympathy for these people because they helped Trump get into a position to do this in the first place,” one person said.

“I don’t particularly give a s–t how legit upset she seems to be. She helped create this,” another wrote.

“Lil Maria was the catalyst for this s–t…it’s on her and her ilk…yep ya f–d up Maria,” a third added.

Others expressed shock over the way Comer approached the topic by shifting blame as well and seemingly ignoring anything that Bartoromo said, and pointed out flaws in his logic.

“Holy s–t listen to this babbermouth Congressman right after just spew political nonsense, completely ignoring her valid points. Horrible,” one person wrote.

“Ok if he’s using the standard of the Governor ‘getting people riled up’ then he should take another look at January 6th,” another said.
