A depraved female teaching assistant who sexually abused a 12-year-old boy just feet away from his sleeping friends has been imprisoned after she sent disturbing texts to her victim.

Anna Marie Crocker, 34, has been handed a sentence of more than 51 years in prison after also sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy in a parking lot. The mother of four groomed the boy via Snapchat before perpetrating the attack, court documents reveal.

Crocker, from Wisconsin, was also charged with transmitting sexual messages to a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old boy. The teaching assistant invited the older teenager to her home for sex just one day before her October 2024 arrest, prosecutors informed the court.

The hearing disclosed that Crocker awakened the 12-year-old boy as he slept in the basement with his friends. The victim, who first reported the abuse to authorities in 2024, told officers the depraved mother stripped off his underwear and assaulted him in close proximity to the others as they slept.

Court documents show that Crocker texted the victim following the incident, demanding he apologize “for what happened in the basement”. When investigators searched Crocker’s phone, several disturbing videos were uncovered, prosecutors revealed.

According to court documents from the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office, Crocker sent sexually explicit messages, videos, and images to all four victims. She pleaded guilty to seven felonies, including first-degree child sexual assault and second-degree sexual assault of a child, resulting in a prison sentence of 51 and a half years.

“I am disturbed by the harm and distress, along with the trauma that you have to endure,” Crocker expressed during her sentencing, apologizing to her victims. “I am deeply sorry that this has caused confusion, pain and anger, and that you have to live with this the rest of your lives.”

Before her arrest, Crocker was employed as a teaching assistant in Wisconsin. She initially joined the school in 2020 as a substitute before transitioning to a permanent role the following year.

District Attorney Xavier Solis issued a statement saying: “This case represents a profound breach of trust.

“When an adult connected to our schools exploits our children, the harm is severe and lasting.

This sentence sends a clear message to any school employee who preys on our children, in Kenosha County, you will be held accountable.”

Crocker is now required to register as a sex offender for life.
