Fox News host Tomi Lahren has been slammed after taking aim at former president Joe Biden over him going on vacation.

On the program, Lahren, who is known for her fiery persnality, sarcastically said, “And you will never believe where Joe Biden was spotted. Spoiler alert. He’s on vacation.”

Her remarks were quickly condemned by X users, including former NBCUniversal senior executive Mike Sington, who said Fox News was “just grasping at straws.”

He added, “Clueless Fox News host Tomi Lahren mocks retired former President Joe Biden for taking a vacation over the holidays.”

Sington also pointed out that Lahren was filling in for Sean Hannity, who was taking a vacation over the holidays.

Another person wrote, “Are we being serious right now? Joe Biden isn’t in office, he’s spending time with his family, and Fox News is attacking him for being on vacation?????? How does anyone actually watch this s—.”

Others said it was absurd to attacking someone for taking a break. One person wrote, “So now spending time with family is a crime? This outrage culture is getting ridiculous.”

Biden was seen earlier this week attending mass at St. Croix in the U.S Virgin Islands.

Since leaving the office earlier this year, Biden hasn’t been away from the public eye.

It comes as his former officials from his administration are being appointed to state-level positions, such as Jessica Looman, who was recently named Virginia Labor Secretary.

Biden has also remained a vocal advocate on social issues, such as condemning Republicans earlier this month for using transgender rights as a political tool.

In May, it was revealed Biden that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

And in October, it was shared that he had a more advanced form of the illness, which had metastasized to his bones.

The condition was discovered after Biden experienced urinary issues, prompting doctors to do tests and detect a small nodule on his prostate.

The Biden office said at the time that “he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterised by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

It added, “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management.”
