Jesse Watters is back in Fox News viewers’ bad books… once again.

On Wednesday’s installment of the network’s The Five, Waters’ co-star Jessica Tarlov discussed California Governor Gavin Newsom’s presidential prospects, but things ended on a completely different subject.

Tarlov pointed out that Newsom’s opponents will attempt to use California as a cudgel to derail his aspirations, saying, “There’s push and pull, but this is what the debate is going to be. Like when he was up there with Ron DeSantis when they did that debate with Sean Hannity and, they went California v. Florida.

“And when you come from a coastal state, especially one as big as California, and they definitely had some bad years. We covered a lot of poop on the sidewalks in San Francisco and things like that. It’s going to be tough in a Democratic Primary. But he’s not afraid of the challenge. And Democrats are looking for someone at this moment who will stand up and fight. And he is ready to do that.”

This prompted Watters to question whether Newsom’s identity as a straight white man will pose an issue in 2028, with his co-host and partner in crime Greg Gutfeld also jumping in and helping send the segment off the rails.

“And he’s a straight white man. Is that gonna be a problem, Jessica?” Watters teased, as the political strategist for the Democratic Party bit back, “I am very into straight white men myself. I married one. So, I think it’s gonna be fine.”

“How dare you,” Gutfeld butted in, with Tarlov asking, “What? Him or me?” referring to Watters. “You are now into straight white men?” Gutfeld said.

Tarlov replied, “Not exclusively. I like everybody, I guess, but I married one,” with Watters asking, “Is he Christian?”

“Brian was raised Catholic,” Tarlov clarified, as Watters clapped back, “Ok, just checking. Just wanna make sure we check all the boxes.”

“Also, all religions are good and fine,” Tarlov insisted, prompting Gutfeld to press, “All of them?” Adding fuel to the fire, Watters then asked, “I like it on the record here. Even Islam?”

“Get out. You’re really gross,” Tarlov exclaimed as Watters burst into laughter and insisted, “I’m just kidding. We love Muslims.”

The exchange sparked a huge reaction online, with one user sharing, “These people are actually demented lunatics, I have no clue how Jessica doesn’t pull all her hair out and lose her mind working with them every day.”

A second viewer blasted, “These MAGA cultists are insane. Do Americans realise how fucking crazy they look & sound to Europeans??” as another asked, “How can you stomach this, Jessica…”

“@JessicaTarlov, I’m sorry that these people have decided to jump the shark and talking to them has become a bigger joke,” someone else said.
