Savannah Guthrie’s brother delivered an urgent message to their mother Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper via social media on Thursday, Feburary 5.

For a second day in a row, Savannah, 54, has used her Instagram page to ask for the safe return of Nancy, 84. Just yesterday on February 4, Savannah gave a saddening statement through tears about her mother’s disappearance along with her sister Annie and brother Camron Guthrie, declaring that she and her siblings “wouldn’t rest” until Nancy returned home safely. A day later, Camron released a solo video in which he explained exactly what needed to happen regarding his mother.

“Whoever’s out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you,” the 61-year-old veteran said.”We haven’t heard anything directly. We need you to reach out, and we need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward.”

He added that “first,” before any of that could happen, the Guthrie family had to “know” that the kidnapper “had their mom.” Camron said that they wanted “to talk” to the kidnapper and were “waiting for contact.”

Camron managed to keep it together during the video, shedding no tears or fighting back any tears, whereas Savannah appeared very emotionally distraught in her previous video statement, which she also shared on her IG account.

Yesterday, the Today Show star made an emotional plea as she and her siblings joined forces to continue their search for their mom.

Savannah couldn’t hold back her tears as she expressed to viewers the severity of the situation and the determination to bring their mom home safely.

On Sunday, February 1, Nancy was reported missing, and amid her vanishing, a comprehensive investigation was launched to locate her. So far, the ongoing investigation has unearthed a disturbing discovery of blood inside and outside of Nancy’s home on Tuesday, February 3. Additionally, an expert unveiled a chilling reality that the kidnapper is “known to the family.”

Savannah admitted at the beginning of the February 4 video: “We, too, have heard reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk.”

TMZ reported earlier this week that an alleged ransom note surfaced that demanded millions in Bitcoin for Nancy’s safe return.

“However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know, without a doubt, that she is alive and that you have her,” Savannah expressed.

The TV star detailed Nancy’s character in the video, portraying her as “a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light,” noting her to be “funny, spunky, and clever.”

A teary-eyed Savannah further stated, “She has grandchildren who adore her and crowd around her and cover her with kisses. She loves fun and adventure. She is a devoted friend. She is full of kindness and knowledge. Talk to her, and you’ll see.”

Savannah said in conclusion, “We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again.”

Savannah’s sister Annie also offered her perspective in the video from Wednesday, saying, “Nancy is our mother, we are her children. She is our beacon. She holds fast to joy in all of life’s circumstances. She chooses joy day after day despite having already passed through great trials of pain and grief.”

Annie ended with: “We are always going to be merely human. Just normal human people who need our mom. Mama, if you’re listening, we need you to come home. We miss you.”
