INTERNET ERUPTED: A liberal podcaster is facing massive backlash after a reported on-air rant about Erika Kirk and her late husband, Charlie

America’s cultural war just exploded again — this time over a podcast rant so vicious that even seasoned commentators were left stunned.

A liberal commentator has ignited a firestorm of outrage after unleashing what critics are calling a “disgusting, heartless tirade” against Erika Kirk — the grieving widow of assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk — and the late father-of-two himself. 

The shocking comments were delivered by Jennifer Welch, host of the progressive podcast I’ve Had It, during a Sunday episode that now has the nation furiously divided.

Welch, a former Bravo star turned outspoken political podcaster, launched an unfiltered verbal assault on Erika following her appearance at the New York Times’ DealBook Summit in Manhattan, where the widow spoke about marriage, motherhood, feminism and modern womanhood.

What followed stunned listeners.

“This woman should be kicked to the curb,” Welch snapped.
“She is an absolute grifter — just like Donald Trump and just like her unrepentant, racist, homophobic husband was.”

At the DealBook Summit, Erika was asked about New York City’s newly elected mayor Zohran Mamdani and female voting behavior in Manhattan.

She stated:

“Sometimes in places like Manhattan, you become so career-driven that you look to the government as a replacement for relationships… even family.”

She went on to question whether some women were “putting off marriage and motherhood by depending on the government instead.”

For Welch, the comments were unforgivable.

“You are an opportunistic grifter who weaponizes your gender to demean other women.”

She added:

“For you to prance into Manhattan and lecture educated women — you are divorced from reality.”

Welch’s co-host Angie Sullivan also piled on, declaring:

“Maybe there’s more to life than identifying as someone’s wife or someone’s mother.”

Since Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Turning Point USA has continued to expand rapidly, with chapters spreading across high schools and universities nationwide.

Erika has vowed to lead it exactly as her husband envisioned:

“Charlie built a vision-led organization. I knew his goals. I knew his mission. I’m picking up a mantle I understand.”

Meanwhile, public records reveal that nearly $10 million has been raised for Erika through GiveSendGo, GoFundMe and conservative donor groups.

The largest fund — backed by Tucker Carlson’s ALP brand — alone generated over $5.4 million, including a $1 million direct donation.

Another $10 million is believed to have come from life insurance payouts.

These figures have been seized upon by critics — and were part of the fuel behind Welch’s outburst.

Supporters of Erika argue she is being punished for stepping into leadership as a conservative woman, while critics insist her views on feminism deserve scrutiny.
