However, Robin took the time to explain her marriage situation to the person in the audience, admitting it isn’t for everyone. “Not everybody can do this,” Robin said. However, she explained that she and Amber have different homes and are apart three days a week.

Robin said she works “early, early, early hours” at Good Morning America. She said living apart those three days a week is “working for us.” She said it was clear it worked since they have been together for 20 years. However, Robin also noted that some people can’t do this because there are “temptations” to cheat when living apart.

This also ties into a recent segment on Good Morning America, in which they mentioned a trend of couples who don’t live together at all.

Robin Roberts Says This Works Best For Her

When it comes to the living arrangements, Robin Roberts said that she thinks that it works perfectly for the two of them. She said it is all about “trust and love.” Robin also revealed that it was “kind of nice,” and Amber would say the same thing.

Robin said that living apart a few days a week lets them keep their identities, and their time together is even more exciting. She also admitted it allows them time to do what they like since Robin is a sports fan and Amber prefers other shows.

While Robin Roberts works for Good Morning America as one of the top hosts on the show, Amber Laign is a massage therapist. They also have very different approaches to life, as Robin is a public figure and Amber prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
