Fox News halted its programming schedule to update viewers on the Nancy Guthrie case as America’s Newsroom host Bill Hemmer, 69, revealed the content inside a new ransom letter, which has not been verified by the FBI.

It has now been 11 days since Nancy, 84, was reported missing in Arizona on February 1. Law enforcement has indicated that the mother of the Today Show host was most likely kidnapped. Traces of blood that were discovered on her front porch were confirmed through testing to belong to Nancy.

This comes as an ex-FBI agent revealed the hidden codeword that Savannah used in her message to the kidnappers. Jason Pack, a former FBI special agent and crisis negotiator, spoke with the Daily Mail on February 7 about the use of the word “celebrate” in Savannah’s speech and its meaning in the context of negotiations and ransoms.

“The word ‘celebrate’ stood out to me immediately. Savannah didn’t say ‘surrender her’ or ‘give her back.’ She said return her so we can ‘celebrate’. That’s the language of resolution, not confrontation. In any negotiation, you want to offer the other party a way to see this ending positively and peacefully for them, too,” Pack said.

During Fox News‘ broadcast of America’s Newsroom on February 11, Hemmer spoke with TMZ founder Harvey Levin, 75, about the unverified ransom letter he received earlier that day.

Hemmer asked, “You now report that TMZ had just been sent a third letter. Please explain.”

Levin said, “An hour and a half ago, we got a bizarre letter, an email from somebody who says they know who the kidnapper is.”

“They have tried to contact Savannah’s sister and brother to no avail. They want 1 Bitcoin sent to a Bitcoin address. We have confirmed it is active.  It is a Bitcoin address,” the TMZ founder added.

“Time is more relevant,” he warned.

“We have no idea whether this is real or not,” Levin stressed.

1 Bitcoin is valued at $56,000, roughly the same amount as the FBI offered for information leading to the return of Savannah’s mother.

“I don’t know if that aligns. But whoever sent this, they actually give a name and email address. But whoever sent this, is asking for around that amount,” Levin finished.

On February 10, photos were released by FBI director Kash Patel on February 10, which came from the security cameras inside Guthrie’s home on the night of her disappearance.

A man appeared to be wearing a ski mask, black gloves, khaki pants, and a jacket. He also had a backpack on their shoulders. The figure was seen removing the Ring camera from Guthrie’s door.
