Megyn Kelly was slammed by viewers after she launched a scathing rant aimed at ex-CNN host Don Lemon.

Speaking on The Megyn Kelly Show on Monday, January 19, Kelly, 55, embarked on a blistering monologue about Lemon’s coverage of protests against ICE raids in Minnesota. She called Lemon, 59, a “disgusting fool,” and claimed his reporting was “self-promotional and satanic.”

She said, “Don Lemon, who reveled in it and lectured half of the parishioners about how they really had an obligation to sit there and f—— take it, that this was American as apple pie, sit there and f—— take it. That was Don Lemon’s basic message to these parishioners. He’s a disgusting fool.”

She continued, “Now there’s a question about whether he’s also a criminal that’s kind of irrelevant to me. If he broke the law, I’m fine seeing him prosecuted. But I actually think what’s more important is how disgusting he is… That’s how that felt, self-promotional and satanic.”

Ranting on the topic further Kelly added, “Can you imagine? Just think about it. I know most of you guys are not reporters, but you are individuals in America who live your lives, and probably a large portion of you go to church or services. Can you imagine walking into somebody else’s worship and disrupting it, and then you, as a so-called journalist, starting to lecture them about how they needed to take it, about how it was important and it was quintessentially American and totally allowed under the First Amendment.

“This guy’s fall from what was once the pinnacle of cable news, really, I’m not saying much, has been so precipitous and stunning, not to some of us who saw what a disgusting person he was a long time ago. But wow… No one should ever look at this guy again. Nobody should ever be watching his disgusting feed, his disgusting behavior dovetails perfectly with who he is as a so-called journalist and as a man.”

Unimpressed viewers of the clip from Kelly on X then shared their opinion. One wrote, “It’s trashy when she curses.” A second said, “The constitution only matters to you and yours when it’s convenient.”

A third commented, “Candace Owens is actually the bar for ‘too dumb to be allowed to do the news’ if you count her conspiracy rants as “news.” She is your friend though and apparently Don isn’t so I see why it would be easier to call him out when he is wrong. Hint: If you can’t call your friends out when they are wrong, you’re not really friends.”

A fourth social media user posted, “Megyn approves of ICE shooting a mom of 3 in the head, kidnapping an old Hmong citizen in his underwear in below freezing weather, spraying a baby with chemicals so baby stops breathing, tear gassing a priest. But the horrors of an interrupted church service IS HER RED LINE.”

A fifth added, “Megyn Kelly’s call for mass arrests reflects a troubling impulse toward punitive authority. The law should protect peaceful worship without resorting to such broad coercion.”

However, not everyone disagreed with Megyn, with some supporting her viewpoint. One shared, “If they don’t drop the hammer down hard on all these church crashers and arrest then, there will be hell to pay next Sunday! Soros will plan ten of these church raids for next Sunday

Another said,”A good Christian would say ‘I forgive them for they know not what they’re doing’.” A third commented, “Bravo, Lemon! You have leveled up your stupidity, which I didn’t think was possible. Now let’s see if consequences for such egregious behavior follow – as they should in a sane world.”
