Fox News viewers were not happy with Jesse Watters’ take on the fatal ICE shooting on Wednesday, January 7, which has divided the country.

The 47-year-old host of Jesse Watters Primetime was eviscerated online after his scathing remarks about the victim, Renee Nicole Good. During a segment on his program on Thursday, January 8, Jesse claimed that the 37-year-old mother of three’s “entire life was a tragedy,” which sparked outrage from viewers, who dubbed him a “disgrace,” a “ghoul,” and “a sad excuse for a human being.”

Renee was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday, in a harrowing incident that was caught on video.

Some viewers felt the controversial broadcast journalist crossed the line during his reporting, slamming him for his remarks about the victim.

“This woman’s entire life was a tragedy,” he started. “She gets divorced from her husband, she didn’t get custody of two of her older kids. She gets remarried. That husband dies. She falls in love with a woman. And after Trump won in November, they flee the country to Canada, but migrate back to Minneapolis with her young son.”

Fox News viewers were outraged by Jesse’s reporting, taking to social media to condemn his characterization of Renee.

One viewer fumed on X, “F–k you, Jesse, you miserable p—k. She appears to have had a conscience, which is more than anyone can say for you,” as another scathed, “It’s a tragedy that Jesse Watters has this job. Despicable human being with the most punchable face in cable news!”

Others chimed in with jabs like, “I don’t think he could be a bigger piece of s–t if he tried” and “Wow, he might be the most crude & crass anchor ever. Unbelievable how mean he is.” A fifth commenter wrote, “This is so terribly disturbing.”

“@JesseBWatters is scum,” one viewer raged as another echoed, “Jesse Watters is scum on earth.”

During the horrific incident, which was captured on video, it appears that the 37-year-old was waving passing cars around her as she attempted to maneuver her vehicle out of the way before masked ICE agents surrounded her vehicle.

As the immigration officers attempted to open the driver’s side door, Renee began to slowly drive away before one officer deployed his weapon and shot her three times in the face at point-blank range as bystanders looked on in terror.

Immediately after the shooting, which has led to protests in Minneapolis and across the country, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and the DHS claimed that the ICE agent acted in “self-defense” after the mother of three “weaponized her vehicle” by allegedly attempting to run over the federal officer.

Donald Trump called Renee a “domestic terrorist,” while others are arguing that she was murdered and calling for the agent responsible to be charged with her death.
