Fox News viewers have ripped into Senator Lindsey Graham after the MAGA “ghoul” said he was going to ask his constituents “to send their sons and daughters to the Middle East.”

Graham, who is a senator for South Carolina, made the claim on Fox News‘s Hannity on March 9, as he discussed the Trump administration’s attack on Iran.

During the discussion with broadcasting veteran Sean Hannity, Graham heavily praised the US and Israel’s military strategy and called the strikes a “good investment” for national security. Additionally, he expressed the view that “Cuba is next,” following Operation Epic Fury in the Middle East, a view he has also shared previously.

However, there was one moment in the interview that got people really riled up, and it was when Graham outlined his plan to get US citizens to fight in the Middle East.

“To our Arab friends, I’ve tried to help you construct your new Middle East. You need to up your game here,” Graham said. “I can’t go to South Carolina and say we’re fighting, and you won’t publicly fight. What you’re doing behind the scenes, that has to stop…I go back to South Carolina, and I’m asking them to send their sons and daughters over to the Middle East.”

Continuing, the Republican senator added, “What I want you to do, our friends in Saudi Arabia and these places, step forward, and say this is my fight too. I’ll join America. I’m publicly involved in bringing this regime down; if you don’t, you’re making a grave mistake, and you’re going to cut off the ability to have a better relationship with the United States. I say this as a friend.”

Fox News viewers responded to Graham’s words on social media, with one person writing on X, “Disgusting. The same people who never volunteer themselves are always the first to volunteer other people’s children for war.

“Lindsey Graham says ‘send their sons and daughters’ like he’s mailing somebody else’s blood to cover for Washington’s addiction to disaster. That is the oldest scam in American politics — rich cowards selling patriotism to families who will do the bleeding for them. And every time this ghoul opens his mouth, you can hear the empire demanding another sacrifice from everyone except the men who started it.”

A second person then asked, “How many MAGA men are going to strong-arm their kids into enlisting for Trump?”while a third remarked, “Why doesn’t Lindsey go to the White House and ask them to send their son?”

“Please don’t. Focus on Jobs for South Carolina not sending people out of South Carolina. Help your constituents, Lindsey,” a fourth Fox News viewer concluded.
