Nicki Minaj has appeared to become a staple in the Trump administration as she attended an event celebrating the upcoming Trump Accounts.
The tax-advantaged investment accounts, named after the current president, are the administration’s approach to try to educate the youth of America on how to save money. It’s a part of Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act and provides a $1,000 US Treasury deposit for children who qualify and were born between 2025 and 2028.
Though the Trump Accounts won’t launch until July 4 of this year, the US Department of the Treasury held a summit for the Trump Accounts on January 28 and included some big names in politics and entertainment – including Nicki Minaj. Nicki has previously praised the president on various occasions and even spoke at the United Nations on his behalf.
Nicki attended the summit in Washington, D.C., donning a pale yellow dress with a high neckline and white fur-like coat. She introduced the president before he spoke, saying, “I don’t know what to say but what I will say is I’m probably the president’s number one fan and that’s not going to change.”
“And the hate or what people have to say it does not affect me,” she continued. “It actually motivates me to support him more and it’s going to support all of us to support him more.”

She concluded, “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him and you know, the smear campaigns. He has a lot of force behind him and God is protecting him. Amen.”
Before the event took place, the Super Bass rapper took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise the Trump Accounts. “The true meaning of paying it forward. Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life,” she wrote.
“In some cases, they will end up teaching their very own parents how to invest & what to invest in,” Nicki continued. “This makes me very happy.”
Last month, Nicki appeared at a Turning Point event that was memorializing its former leader, Charlie Kirk. The conservative organization is now run by Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. Nicki took the stage at the event for a conversation with Erika and spoke about her newfound love for Donald Trump and his vice president, JD Vance.

“This administration is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me proud of them. Our vice president, he makes me … well, I love both of them,” Nicki said. “Both of them have a very uncanny ability to be someone that you relate to.”
Nicki was also vocal about the recent controversy surrounding ex-CNN host Don Lemon. He was livestreaming a protest in Minneapolis that interrupted a church service as protestors believed that the pastor, supposedly named David Easterwood, was also the top ICE official in the city.
The rapper slammed Don on X, saying “DON ‘C–K SUCKIN’ LEMON IS DISGUSTING. HOW DARE YOU? I WANT THAT THUG IN JAIL!!!!! HE WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO ANY OTHER RELIGION. LOCK HIM UP!!!!!”
