Elon Musk is storming back into MAGA world by dishing out more cash to a fervently pro-Trump candidate looking to succeed Mitch McConnell.
The Tesla CEO has cut a massive $10 million check to Nate Morris, a loyalist Trump underdog running to succeed McConnell, according to Axios.
Morris was one of the last candidates Charlie Kirk endorsed before he was assassinated last September.
‘He’s fighting the McConnell Machine, and he needs our help to defeat it,’ said Turning Point spokesperson Charlie Kirk. ‘If we want the Senate to change, we need better senators. Ground Zero is Kentucky.’
Musk’s latest donation indicates the flamboyant billionaire plans to reenter the political arena in the 2026 midterms.
By securing the support of the world’s richest man, Republicans have armed themselves with a formidable fundraising weapon heading into the fight to hold their congressional majorities.
Following his high-profile falling out with Trump after accusing the president of being connected to deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, Musk had threatened to abandon the GOP by starting a third party.
His decision to back Morris means Musk is now firmly supporting the GOP in the midterms and helping candidates endorsed by the deceased Turning Point founder.

In December, Musk also gave major contributions to GOP pro-House and Senate super PACs.
His donations started pouring in after a private dinner with Vice President JD Vance and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles in November.
The billionaire has also privately told those sources close to him that he plans to give more to Republican candidates in the future, according to multiple reports.
The $10 million Musk donation was given to the pro-Morris super pac named Fight for Kentucky. This was the largest single contribution Musk has ever given to a Senate candidate.
During the 2024 election, Musk was pivotal in financing Trump’s political operation and early voting initiatives in key battleground states.
Pro-Trump operations received approximately $300 million from Musk, making him the largest donor of the entire election.
The donation by Musk suggests he is looking to support candidates that abandon traditional GOP talking points. Musk was reportedly impressed with Morris’ anti-McConnell and anti-establishment message.
Morris, who is running as an anti-immigration hardliner, launched his campaign during an interview on Donald Trump Jr’s podcast last year.

Morris is running against Daniel Cameron, who Trump endorsed for governor in Kentucky in 2023, and Andy Barr, a congressman from Lexington.
A recent survey of GOP voters in Kentucky indicates Morris is trailing far behind his two biggest rivals with only 13% support compared to Cameron’s 40% and Barr’s 25%.
Any success for Morris going forward will likely be credited to Musk.
Morris has poured $3 million of his own money into the campaign, but the heavy personal spending has failed to deliver a significant boost for him in the polls.
Reports indicate Morris is a close personal friend to the vice president, but President Trump has not formally issued an endorsement in the Senate race.
